Tips

Before proceeding to your place, please take a few minutes to read these basic tips:
  • Although Netcipia is optimized for FireFox, Internet Explorer (IE) 6 and IE 7 are also supported.
  • To change your password, go to your profile (link at the top of the page), and click on edit.
  • To create a page, either:
    • Type the name of the page in the corresponding field in the right column, and fill in the content of the page.
    • While you are typing your text in an existing page, simply create a link to the new page: although the page does not exist yet (a question mark will appear next to the link), simply click on the link and the new page will be loaded in edit mode.

  • Netcipia places contain two text editors: A simplified editor, that uses a Wiki syntax, and a WYSIWYG editor, that enables code-free formatting. Novice users should use the WYSIWYG editor. Advanced users will benefit from the greater speed and performance of the Wiki editor.
  • By default, a Netcipia place is private and only you can access it. As the place owner, you can invite other users. Simply click on "Members - Invite" in the Toolbox (right column). You can also change the global access rights to a place, and make it public. Simply click on "Place - Right" in the Toolbox.

Welcome to your place

This post

This post has been created by default. It is just a example, you can delete it clicking first on the "Permalink" link at the bottom of this post, and then "Delete" in the Toolbox. Be sure to have clicked on "Permalink" before to do the deletion action, otherwise the main blog page could be erased.

RSS Feeds

This wiki has some RSS feeds which allows you to keep up to date with modifications. See right panel.

If you use a private place, you must have a RSS reader able to read private RSS feeds (RSSReader or NetVibes work fine).
